Journey into Self – Living the Spiritual Path

Understand that others are not the source of our negative emotions. We do not solve our life’s problems by pointing fingers at others, we must learn to accept responsibility and look within ourselves to find the root of our problems. If we constantly face the same issues in life, it is not others who need to change, it is us who must do so.

We are not sinners, for we were created in the image and likeness of God. Our manifestation in the physical realm has created temporary separation from God. Our thoughts, words and actions either move us closer or further separates us from God. That which moves us away from God is sin. Sprirtual practices are those thoughts, words and actions that reunited us with God.

Know ye this, on the Spiritual path, we will be engaged in war against egoic forces.  Prepare yourself for many battles that will ensue on your journey.  Spiritual practice readies your army of light within you to prevail against the dark army of ego.  We may loses some battles along the way.  Be not discourage, for with steadfast spiritual practice and determination, we will win the war!
