Wisdom

Mere knowledge and education does not make one wise. Application of knowledge with discriminaton based on Supreme Truth (Maat) is wisdom. Reckless use of knowledge is evidence of knowledge in the hands of a fool. True knowing (gnosis) comes from within, not from books. Sa Ra

Judgement Day

We will be judged not upon our accumulation of knowledge and information. We will be held responsible and be judged upon how we have applied that knowledge in our lives for the benefit of the world. Sa Ra

Karma

The Universe rewards our actions, whether they are positive or negative.  If we are not happy with our rewards, we must reflect upon the nature of our actions.  It is upon us to be sure that our actions are in accordance with Divine Order.  In Ancient Egypt, this is called Maat and in Hindu, it is  Dharma.  To do so, we must allow ourselves to be guided by our inner voice or our heart, not our mind or ego.  Sa Ra

Know Thyself!

Know thyself! This is necessary on different levels. The first level is knowledge of ancestry, culture and history.  The next level is understanding one’s personality and why we react to circumstances and people  in a certain way. The final level is knowing (gnosis), knowing that we are one and the same with God (Creator/Universe) and everything in Existence.  Sa Ra

Constant Awareness

It is important to be in a constant state of awareness about what we are thinking and feeling at any given moment.  In this way we will be able to censor and be in control of our thoughts and feelings instead of them being in control of us.  Sa Ra

Do not Identify with Thoughts

Do not identify with your thoughts, they are not us.  We have no control over thoughts themselves.  Thoughts exist and enter into our minds like clouds floating in the sky.  However, we do have the ability and option to  choose those that we wish to focus upon.  Do not feel guilty over negative thoughts.  Simply observe and allow the dark, negative clouds to pass.  Do not seed the negative clouds, lest we are prepared for the inevitable  storm that will ensue.  Sa Ra

Acceptance and Approval from others

Seeking the acceptance and approval of other is like unto trying to grasp and capture a cloud; we will never attain it.  This pursuit will inevitably lead to a life of misery and disappointment.  Those with selfish intentions will cease upon this weakness within us and use it to control us to satisfy their desires and thus we become their willing slaves.  We must realize that we do not need the approval and acceptance of anyone for we are truly the essence of God.  Here is wisdom, how can one approve and accept us if they don’t approve and accept themselves.   Sa Ra

Possessiveness

Possessiveness is an outcome of ego consciousness. Ego consciousness is separate consciousness, wherein we identify with “me” “my” “I” “mine” and see ourselves as separate or apart from other people or things in the Universe. When we rise above ego consciousness, we realize that everything in the Universe is connected or part of the One (Oneness of Existence). We are not meant to possess anything for we are everything, thus there is really nothing to possess. Sa Ra
