We Are Like A Glass of Water
Posted on 02/11/11 by Sa RaWe are like unto a glass of water. Initially, we are pure for we come from the Ocean of purity. Over time, the dust of life experience settles into the glass and clouds the water and distorts our vision. At times, the dust settles and we experience temporary peace. Spiritual practice is the filter that cleans our water. Sa Ra
Meditation, Detachment and Awareness
Posted on 02/05/11 by Sa RaIt is important that we begin and maintain the practice of meditation with consistency. Meditation allows us to develop the ability to observe our thoughts with detachment and still our minds. The discipline that we gain from this practice can and should be applied to our lives, whereupon we use the ability to detach from our thoughts in meditation to detach from them during the course of our lives. We can also apply this detachment to events of our lives. In this way, we develop the ability to be unaffected by the events that occur during the course of our lives. Sa Ra

There are those who engage in mind control using the mediums of television, movies, music, billboards etc. to keep us distracted from realizing our true purpose. Sa Ra
Choose Your Words and Thoughts Wisely
Posted on 01/19/11 by Sa RaIt is important that we be mindful and selective about the words that we use. Refrain from using self-limiting words and phrases such as can’t, too hard, and try. Use affirming words. Innerstand that we are creating with the vibration of our thoughts and words. Let us be in control of both. Sa Ra
