Sherri Petro
Sherri is the President of VPI Strategies and Co-Founder of Workplace Evolution where she unifies people, process and technology to create sustainable organizations. She has been practicing strategy and organizational development in her strengths-based management consulting firms for nine years.
- She is an expert facilitator and presenter with over 250 seminars to her credit.
- Sherri has published over eighty articles on strategy, marketing and coaching in which she simplifies complex concepts for busy professionals.
- She works as a consultant and executive coach, one-on-one with CEOs, business owners and executive directors.

As a strategist, she uses Appreciative Inquiry to illuminate possibilities and encourages the use of strategic thinking skills. As a marketer, Sherri adds structure and speaks passionately from the customer perspective. While facilitating, speaking and training, she is both inspiring and fun. When coaching, she asks powerful and provocative questions.
Her diverse 20+ year career includes stops in customer service, operations, administration, sales, marketing and strategic planning. Sherri has worked as an intrepreneur, an entrepreneur and a facilitator and consultant in many industries. Clients range from nonprofits to for-profits, from medical device manufacturers to virtual learning organizations, from small business to divisions of Fortune 500 companies.
Sherri earned a Master in Business Administration degree with an emphasis on Strategic Planning from Pepperdine University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Youngstown State University, summa cum laude. She is also a graduate of LEAD San Diego.
Sherri is a Board Member of Mental Health America of San Diego County (MHASD), and participates in several other Non-Profits. She also gives forward by providing services through the premier organization committed to growing San Diego’s nonprofit infrastructure, Nonprofit Management Solutions.
